My Story

For years, I lived with a quiet conflict inside me.

On the outside, I looked happy, adventurous, optimistic, always saying yes to life.
But inside, I carried shame, comparison and a deep belief that something about me was wrong.

No matter how much I laughed or achieved, I couldn’t make peace with my body.
I kept waiting for the day I’d finally feel enough, once I lost the weight, once I looked different, once I was “ready.”

But the truth is, I wasn’t waiting for my body to change.
I was waiting to feel safe being me.

For so long, I tried to fix what I thought was broken, through control, discipline and self-criticism.
But it only pulled me further away from myself.
Every time I pushed harder, I abandoned myself a wee bit more.

And the cost was high.
My relationships suffered.
My business stayed small because I was afraid to be seen.
And my health suffered most of all, because I gave to everyone else, but never to myself.

Over time, I built layers of protection around myself
and drifted further and further away from who I really was.

But here’s what I really want you to know.

It was the identity work.
The willingness to face my fears instead of bypass them.
And the dismantling of the belief systems that had been quietly running my life for years.
That’s what got me here.

It was allowing myself, really allowing myself, to open up to the possibility that this was my calling.
That helping women feel safe in their skin and trust they are enough as they are wasn’t just something I wanted.
It was something that wanted me too.

And from there, I stepped into the version of me who already had it.

I moved through the fear, of rejection, of not belonging, of not being enough and I said:
This is who I am now. This is just who I am now!

I had promised myself, after years of hiding and playing small, that I wanted more.
That I deserved more.
That I would no longer let fear run my life.

I promised myself I would choose inner safety and peace, over “false comfort” and avoidance and that I would keep my word to myself no matter what.

I found it.

I made a vow that whatever I was doing, I would do it from inner trust and joy.
And I did.

Not because fear disappeared but because I stopped letting fear make my decisions for me.
